The Space:
Built in 1953 by well known New Orleans architects Wess and Silverstein, the
property has been transformed to a 5 Suite, 15 room bungalow- tucked
behind brick walls and set amidst lush garden courtyards with a private crystal clear pool. This unit is 8 Bedrooms and 5.5 Bathrooms
The Neighborhood:
Claudia is located on St. Claude Avenue , a few blocks from Frenchmen Street, in the heart of one of
New Orleans’ favorite neighborhoods. In addition to being a unique place to sleep,
Claudia serves as a gathering place and occasional hub of community activity for
locals and visitors alike.
Getting Around:
Easy to navigate on foot or bike. Street Car access at St Claude just across the street. Lyft/Uber/Cab always convenient.
Other Things to Note:
- There is a 3.5% charge on bookings made through home away & our website to cover payment processing fees that cannot be returned in the event a cancellation is necessary.
- Our property is located directly next to a residential neighborhood. We are required to enforce the city’s noise ordinance which does not permit excessive noise outside after 10PM.
- We cannot accommodate bachelorette/ bachelor parties or anything similar. No Parties, Events, Smoking or Pets. Cannot invite guests to the property that are not part of the booking reservation.
- Check-In time is 3:00 PM and Check Out-Time is 11:00 AM.

Summary: We live here in NOLA. The space was an escape from the typical city life. Very clean. Looks like pictures. The hosts were great and accommodating. We had a great time in the pool.

Summary: The place was great! I had lots of family members that flew down for my son’s graduation. The property was clean with everything we needed. Plenty of couch space to sit and chat as well as hang out in the pool. The pool was right outside the back door and very private. The neighborhood was off of a busy street but once through the gate it was quiet and peaceful. We definitely enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to others.

Summary: We stayed during Jazzfest and it was perfect. Only a few blocks from Frenchmen. House was solid with plenty of room for everyone. Communication with manager/owner was quick and on point. Thank you!

Summary: The house is great for large groups! The surrounding area isn't the best, but we always felt safe when walking in our larger group and the double point of entry (gate & door) made us feel completely safe. Some of the higher kitchen shelves were very dusty but everything else was SUPER clean. There was a slight musty smell when we first got there, but after running the AC at a lower temp for an hour or 2 the smell went away. The host went above and beyond for us, answering very promptly and even dropped off batteries and extra coffee when we called out that we needed them. House was stocked with plenty of toilet paper and paper towels and all linens seemed very very clean. Highly recommend.

Summary: Celebrated a 50th bday with a group of 14 - this house was perfect! There was plenty of spaces for all us to have our own rooms but also hang out together. The kitchen was open and big with everything we needed including a giant table that we all were able to sit down one night for a fun home cooked meal. The house is walking distance to all the main tourist spots including restaurants and some fun bars. Would definitely rent this house again!

Summary: It was absolutely amazing! the property was clean and a hidden oasis. The pool was perfectly heated to be refreshing. The only that would have made it a smidge better was if there was a grill in the backyard

Summary: PROS: This property is very spacious. As advertised there were 8 bedrooms & 5 nice bathrooms with plenty of towels. We loved the openness of this property with the large dining room table, kitchen island & living room. My family enjoyed the pool. CON: A few of the comforter sets & mattress covers had stains on them which make them appear dirty. We washed them & determined that those stains were permanent. We would recommend purchasing new sets & covers just so renters will not think the same thing we did.
